Most know Staness Jonekos as an award-winning television executive producer who helped launch Oprah Winfrey’s first network, OXYGEN MEDIA, a twice-published author, entrepreneur/Founder of EAT LIKE A WOMAN, INC., and life-long women’s health and empowerment advocate.

A world traveler who celebrates that we are all different yet all the same, Staness has brought her insights to Contemporary Modern Art, rich in dramatic textures enhanced with hand-made raw pigments that embrace the ever-changing drama of nature and humankind.

A true polymath, she is self-taught in all her fields, driven by a passion to make the world a better place. Her art is a new venture, revealing her internal mirror to find peace during a time of great volatility.

Last year, searching for an outlet for self-expression, she grabbed Amazon delivery boxes, old house paint, and used an expired credit card as a brush to create her first piece, and her passion hasn’t stopped.

Staness lives in Los Angeles making art with hand-made organic pigments, inks, acrylics, oil pastels, charcoal, watercolors on canvas, wood panels, and archival paper. She also incorporates sculptural art into her designs.
